Our Studio

Saint Valentine proudly hand makes a large selection of pieces in our Sydney studio, ensuring production is local whenever possible. We source the highest quality materials and components available globally and transform these elements into jewellery pieces in our Alexandria studio.

Locally handmade is an important brand pillar providing jobs and training to a team of skilled local women, and is not a common practice among other jewellery brands, with all production happening offshore. Discover our locally handmade collection

Saint Valentine recognises the importance of sustainable and ethical business practices and is committed to continuously improving our operations to minimise environmental impact.

We are currently seeking further accreditation and visibility in all areas of the supply chain, visiting our suppliers regularly and considering more environmentally friendly options in everything we produce, including our packaging, which is predominately recyclable and FSC certified, or reusable and made for storing your items.

The majority of our products are made from 90% recycled 925 Sterling Silver. We use Cubic Zirconia gemstones or White Topaz as a more sustainable and ethical alternative to diamonds.

We are proud to offer the first jewellery Recycling Program in the Australian market, rewarding 50% store credit* for returning pre-loved Saint Valentine pieces, minimising waste, encouraging circular purchasing, and a more sustainable way to refresh your jewellery collection.

We have strong partnerships with our local and offshore suppliers, who share our commitment to sustainability and ethical business practices. All of our suppliers have signed our Supplier Code of Conduct, which sets out our standards for ethical, social, human rights, and environmental practices. We are committed to visiting our suppliers regularly to ensure compliance with this code.

The majority of our suppliers (almost 70%) are certified by the Responsible Jewelry Council (RJC), the world’s leading standard-setting organisation for the jewellery industry. Additionally, they hold ISO 9001:2015 and BSCI certifications, reflecting their high quality and dedication to better business practices. We are actively working with all suppliers to hold this accreditation over the next few years.
